A Butterfly Dreaming Their Own Reality

Chuang Tzu's famous thought-provoking question, "Was I Chuang Tzu dreaming I was a butterfly or am I now really a butterfly dreaming that I am Chuang Tzu?" has been an inspiration to me. As my personal journey of self-discovery took me from societal norms to realizing my own truth, it drove home the importance of representation for those who have been historically silenced and invisibilized.  My identity is not confined by simple categories and labels; instead, it is composed of multiple facets that are constantly growing and evolving as I learn more about myself. With time, memory, and dreams all intertwined in this experience, the most important thing to me right now is loving myself on my own terms without feeling judged by society's standards.
